Who is doing what to ensure safe roads in the 21st century?

The Quixote Companies are world leaders in the development of roadway safety products. We recognize the importance of education in the field of roadway design and road safety for today's engineering students. These students must be properly educated today to ensure safe roads tomorrow for the motorists of the 21st Century.

We emphasize the need to supply products based on site-specific conditions. By understanding the dangers of a particular site and understanding the features of products and their design, a road authority can make a competent, efficient, cost effective decision. All taxpayers typically really appreciate these proper decisions. Your students may be those road authorities in the future. Will they be ready to competently serve the public?

Teaching these university students the basics needed to identify either an existing hazardous site, or to locate a potentially dangerous site on a drawing, is a goal for The Quixote Companies. To emphasize Quixote's commitment to education today for a benefit tomorrow, we are pleased to announce the Philip E. Rollhaus Roadway Safety Essay Competition. Please publicize this program to your colleagues and students.
